Do you know how to make and get money? Recently I have learned to use the words "make" and "get" to make more money. After I began studying and researching keywords, I decide to update some of my articles on ehow. I have over 300 articles so I did not revamp every single one, but I did revamp a couple dozen. It almost felt like a waste of time because I could have written a new article in the same amount of time it took me to revamp an article.

I think the work is paying off because my earnings are increasing on those articles. I went through all of my recipes and took out the words cook or bake in my keyword phrase and changed it to "make". Make is a much more popular keyword and when you think about it, it is what most people type in when they are looking for a recipe.

I also went through my articles that had words such as "find" and when appropriate I substituted "get". I know that get does not sounds as well from a writers perspective but when you are thinking about earnings and not writing, get is a better word to use. It is a word that people use a lot when they are searching for something that they need.

It is better to get a solid backlink in your industry or niche, than to have 100 backlinks in other categories.

All backlinks will help, but of course, the closer to your niche or market, the better. Google gives priority to websites with backlinks that are within their industry. The faster that you can add backlinks to your blog or website the faster you will move up in the google rankings.

They also pay you a regular residual for your number of page views.

Articles that do not qualify for upfront payment and still receive regular performance payments which are pretty nice.

The only draw back is that they only pay via Paypal. Paypal is not good for consumers or business, but most people have not figured that out yet, they are theives and shister over at Paypal, try to avoid them if you can.

Write a few articles for Associated Content just to try it out, you may like it and find a new stream of income. Making money online is possible, it is not fast money, but it will eventually be a good income.

I am continually asked "Can I really make money online" and "where should I start if I want to make money writing online". There is no such thing as fast money, but when your income starts flowing in you will consider it to be fast money.

There are many places that you can get started so I will give you a little overview of my favorites.

You can write for free on sites such as hubpages.com, ehow.com, xomba.com and my favorite bukisa.com

The reason that bukisa is my favorite is because they have the best compensation plan. You can join and start writing immediately. You can write on any topic you like. You can then ask your friends to join and they can start writing.

"But, how can I make money on Bukisa?"

Every time you write an article, bukisa puts google adsense ads on the article (another benefit of bukisa is that you do not need to join google adsense yourself like on hubpages.com and xomba.com which is convenient). Every time someone clicks on the articles (not you, do not click on your own ads), they keep track and pay you a share of what they make from google. So far this has been excellent.

Secondly, every time you have one of your friends join under you, you make a portion of their google adsense profits.

Ehow.com is a pretty good money maker, but it takes a little longer to get started. You will not see more than a few dollars in profit until you have more than 100 articles written. The articles also need to be substantial.

If you want to start making money now, you can start by earning a dollar today on today.com. Today pays you a dollar every day that you write one 100 word original article. The article does have to be original.

You will also make money on the google adsense ads on your today.com blog.

The third way you make money on today.com is through affiliate marketing. You can set up pages and sell products or books through affiliates such as Amazon.com. You can set up multiple affiliates and link them to your page.

Of course you can always start your own blog free at blogger.com or you can start your own website.
